Channelers VR

My Role: Creative producer

International, 08/2025

As a creative producer, I specialize in crafting immersive narratives. I am currently producing “Channelers” (dir. Jakub Wróblewski), a VR experience that transports users to a supernatural world inspired by Poland during the Polish People’s Republic era. The project was developed as part of the Biennale College Cinema Immersive program at the Venice Film Festival.

“Channelers” is an immersive, 25-minute VR experience set in 1970s Poland, in which users embody a resident trapped in a brutalist apartment block with seemingly no escape. Guided by the voice of a mysterious, non-human intelligence, users navigate the building’s labyrinthine corridors, where concrete walls transform into portals for supernatural phenomena. With each successive floor, reality becomes increasingly surreal. The oppressive architecture of the Polish People’s Republic gives way to dreamlike encounters as users traverse the building. Beings from another dimension appear in their path, offering hope and support on the road to freedom. Set in a dreamcore aesthetic, combining supernatural forces with an anthropological and documentary layer, CHANNELERS invites an escape from reality by offering a metaphysical experience.

The project was developed as part of the Biennale College Cinema Immersive 2025 under the guidance of experts in UX, production, and interactive storytelling. It was subsequently pitched at Sunny Side of the Doc and the Venice Gap-Financing Market to secure funding for production and a 2026 premiere.
