Mixer Festival 2024

Provided curatorial collaboration for Mixer Festival 2024, an event organized by the journalistic collective Outriders in partnership with Google, focusing on the critical intersections of contemporary journalism, art, and technology.

My role involved curating the exhibition of VR works presented during the festival and contributing to the artistic program, including featuring the performance “Goodbye Erdogan” by Betal Özay.

The festival brought together leading international journalists (from outlets like The Atlantic, RFE/RL), tech experts (Mozilla Foundation), and artists to discuss pressing issues such as deepfakes, AI’s impact on media, information warfare, conflict reporting, and the future of journalism. I also conducted curatorial tours, providing context for the presented VR experiences.
