Studio Founder Anna Szylar curated the artistic program for the Mixer Festival – a prestigious event organized by the Outriders collective and Google. Our goal was to explore the critical intersections of credible journalism, art, and new technologies. In an era of disinformation, we focused on how new media can serve the truth and foster social engagement.

Leveraging our network, we invited experts from The Atlantic and the Mozilla Foundation to join the conversation, sparking debates on deepfakes and media ethics. We incorporated artistic interventions into the program, such as the moving performance Goodbye Erdogan by Betal Özay and the In Event of Moon Disaster project by Francesca Panetta and Halsey Burgund. We demonstrated that bridging the worlds of media and art creates a space for innovation and critical reflection on the contemporary world.
