Anna Szylar

CEO | Monster Mind Studio 

Anna Szylar is the founder of Monster Mind Studio, a curator, producer, and strategist working at the intersection of art, culture, and new technologies. For over a decade, she has successfully introduced Polish art to the global stage, building its recognition through strategic partnerships. As the initiator and curator of the Digital Cultures festival, she created a key platform for dialogue between Polish creators and the international community. Her experience includes positions at leading institutions such as the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and vnLab, where she was responsible for international relations and the distribution of VR projects.

 

Her expertise is recognized through her role as a Programme Advisor for the prestigious IDFA DocLab, one of the world’s leading festivals dedicated to digital art. Anna Szylar’s curatorial credits include exhibitions on key international stages—from “Ground Control” at the Venice Film Festival and “Platform: Still Human” in Seoul, to “Elusive Sense: On the Fluid Boundaries of Perception” as part of the UK/Poland Season 2025. She is also an active producer and an alumna of the prestigious Biennale College Cinema Immersive program, through which her studio is producing the VR project “Channelers,” directed by Jakub Wróblewski. She is a regular speaker and expert at major international industry conferences.

Pola Komarowa

Producer

Pola Komarowa is a multimedia artist, researcher, and producer. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the University of Warsaw, she is currently a PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Her projects focus on themes of memory, trauma, identity, and the human relationship with space: whether emotional, temporary, or endangered. She uses photography, video, 3D scans, and the medium of XR as tools to archive intimate experiences and relationships.

 

Her work has been presented at prominent institutions, including the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Arsenał Gallery, the National Museum in Krakow, and Haus der Statistik in Berlin. She brings her artistic sensitivity to space and audience comfort to her production work. She has produced exhibitions and events in the digital culture sector for partners such as the Digital Cultures festival, MDAG Vision, Spektrum Festival, and vnLab.

Michał Ziętek

Exhibition Designer

Exhibition and lighting designer with over 15 years of experience in the cultural sector. A graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (diploma from the Spatial Design Studio), he is an expert in organizing and managing exhibition processes. In his practice, he seamlessly combines technical expertise with artistic sensitivity, having built his experience through collaborations with key art institutions.
