NOTHING DIES BECAUSE NOTHING EXISTS, YET EVERYTHING IS | Our Role: Curation

In collaboration with the Mazovia Institute of Culture, we produced the exhibition Nothing Dies Because Nothing Exists, Yet Everything Is, showcasing works from the Visual Narratives Laboratory of the Lodz Film School. Situated in the space between the tangible and the imagined, we constructed a narrative about departure. VR technology became the medium allowing us to transcend physical boundaries to touch upon the elusive—loss, transience, and decay in their various, intimate dimensions.

The curator of the exhibition, Anna Szylar, proposed creating a safe space for confronting the fear of loss. The presented works took the viewer on a journey through a pandemic-stricken city, a mythological journey into the afterlife, and an intimate encounter with illness. The exhibition proved that virtual reality does not have to serve escapism, but can be a tool for in-depth reflection on the most fundamental aspects of human fate.
